Emily England provides clients with strategic guidance on US immigration law, compliance, and risk management. She helps US and global organizations solve complex immigration challenges and develop tailored solutions aligned with business goals.
Clients turn to Emily’s extensive experience in immigration-related submissions to the US Department of Homeland Security, US Department of Labor, and the US Department of State, including employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant filings as well as family-based matters. Emily’s representative experience includes:
- Managing H-1B registrations and petitions for high-volume and first-time sponsoring companies, including strategic planning for complex hiring scenarios
- Guiding clients through employment-based green card sponsorship, including the PERM labor certification process, from initiation through approval of permanent residency
- Advising clients in connection with Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and PERM audits
She also counsels on immigration program management for small and large populations, helping clients anticipate risks and structure solutions that support objectives. Clients trust her ability to navigate the most intricate immigration issues and provide clear, actionable advice to stakeholders. Emily offers innovative strategies that not only resolve immediate challenges but also create long-term stability and success for her clients.
Emily earned her JD from Georgetown University Law Center, her MS from University College London, and her BA from The University of Chicago. Emily is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Illinois, and New York.
