Visión general

As the global professional support lawyer for the firm’s International Arbitration practice, Lisa helps lawyers and clients with their arbitration needs including advising on arbitration clauses, complex queries and legal opinions and assisting with case strategy. She is responsible for devising and implementing projects to meet the practice’s knowledge needs (including building and maintaining the firm’s knowledge database vis-a-vis arbitration related documents), thought leadership, lawyer and client training, resource management, and mentoring lawyers. She assists with marketing and business development through drafting regular client Legal Updates and organising webinars, events and podcasts. She promotes lawyer efficiency and productivity by maintaining the practice’s Intranet page and by evaluating and implementing new technology to meet the practice needs.

Lawyers and clients turn to Lisa for her prior experience as a senior fee-earner in the Arbitration and Dispute Resolution practices at other large law firms where she advised on a wide range of high profile international arbitrations, including institutional, ad hoc and investment treaty arbitrations. They also rely on her prior experience as (i) Counsel at the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), where she gained valuable insight into LCIA practice and procedure and forged relationships with arbitrators, counsel and other key members of the arbitral community and (ii) Assistant Editor for Investment Arbitration for Kluwer Arbitration Blog.

Lisa is a Member of the City of London Law Society’s Arbitration Law Committee, a Committee launched in January 2023 which provides expert advice to the UK Government, lawmakers and other stakeholders on international disputes and seeks to promote London as a key centre for arbitration.
