Mayer Brown advises Sunfire on additional growth capital funding

Mayer Brown has advised Sunfire, a global leader for industrial electrolyzers, on part of the increase of its Series D capital raising to €195 million ($215 million). 

Sunfire wins Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and Blue Earth Capital as new investors. The capital raising will enable the German company to scale its hydrogen technologies to support the industrialization of green hydrogen sector. Sunfire's growth will be supported through a framework agreement with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), which will see Sunfire provide CIP with up to 640 MW of pressurized alkaline electrolyzers for its multi-GW Power-to-X project pipeline.
