Mayer Brown announced that Litigation & Dispute Resolution associate Niketa Patel (New York) has been selected as a member of the 2021 Lawyers for Civil Justice (LCJ) Fellows Program. Ms. Patel will serve a three-year term.

Launched in 2019 by LCJ’s Diversity and Young Lawyers Committee, the program aims to identify future leaders of the organization. To be selected, attorneys must have a demonstrated commitment to the civil defense bar and be experienced in their practice.

Her experience includes internal corporate investigations, securities litigation, and life sciences product liability disputes, among others.

LCJ is a national coalition of defense trial lawyer organizations, law firms, and corporations that promotes excellence and fairness in the civil justice system to secure the just, speedy, and inexpensive determination of civil cases.
