Brazil’s Superior Court of Justice: "ICMS Cannot Be Levied on Interstate Transport Services of Goods Destined Abroad"

On 28th April, 2021, the First Section of the Superior Court of Justice ("STJ") approved the Precedent (Súmula) No. 649[1], according which the ICMS does not levy on interstate transport services of goods destined abroad.
