Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Porto Serviços on signing agreement to acquire Unigás

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised advised Porto Serviços, a part of the Porto group, on the signing of an agreement for the acquisition of Unigás, a company based in Campinas with almost 30 years' experience in the areas of installation and technical assistance for heating systems, natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas. The closing of the transaction is subject to the fulfillment of customary conditions precedent.

With this operation, Porto enters the installation and technical assistance segment related to heating and gas systems, taking another important step towards diversifying its services business, which currently includes Porto Seguro Assistência e Serviços S.A. and CDF Assistência e Suporte Digital S.A.

The team was led by partner Bruno Salzano and associate Maurício Veiga, and included the participation of associate Caio Rezende Missagia, all from the Corporate and M&A area.
