Trends in UDAAP Enforcement and Supervision

Please join members of Mayer Brown’s Financial Services Regulatory & Enforcement practice for a discussion of recent trends in federal activities relating to unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices (“UDAAPs”). We will discuss:

• A move by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to significantly expand its interpretation of the prohibition on unfair acts or practices to include discrimination;
• Recent UDAAP enforcement activity; and
• Trends in UDAAP-related supervisory findings and guidance.
