Sam is a senior associate in the Real Estate group of our London office. He advises both domestic and overseas clients on a wide variety of real estate matters, including investment acquisitions and disposals, property development, corporate transactions and all aspects of landlord and tenant work.
On the investment side, Sam’s notable transactions include advising Värde Partners on the purchase of Bizspace Group (a UK flexible co-working provider) for approximately £138 million, advising Kingswood Edge Limited on its £400 million purchase of 30 Gresham Street and advising British Land on the sale of the “Cheesegrater” for £1.15 billion. Most recently, Sam acted for AT&T on the sale of its global colocation data centre business to Brookfield for $1.1 billion.
Sam advises British Land on the management of their prime central London mixed use campus Paddington Central as well as other “high-end” landlord and tenant work for both institutional landlords and corporate occupiers. Sam has also developed a significant expertise in the flexible office and co-working space having acted for both WeWork and Storey by British Land.
Sam also represents a number of private equity real estate clients including Kennedy Wilson and Cabot Properties. Notable transactions in the private equity sphere have included acting for Cabot Properties on the sale of their first UK portfolio of industrial properties to London Metric for £116 million.
