Charles E. Harris, II named a 2024 “Rainmaker” by MCCA

Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) has named Mayer Brown partner Charles E. Harris, II, a 2024 “Rainmaker.” The annual list recognizes talented diverse lawyers who have “achieved remarkable success through their innovative, consistent business development strategies and client development skills,” according to the organization. Charles is among an elite group of only 16 lawyers from across the US.

A partner in Mayer Brown’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution group, who is dual-qualified in the United States and United Kingdom, Charles focuses his international practice on matters of paramount importance to the business community, including class actions, antitrust, contract disputes, technology-related disputes, administrative actions, and privacy and cybersecurity. He has successfully defended individual and class action suits under the TCPA, AIPA, FCRA, FDCPA, and state consumer protection statutes. He also defended data breach lawsuits under the CFAA and Stored Communications Act. Charles has also handled many First Amendment cases alleging defamation and other privacy torts. Charles also has significant experience in all areas of arbitration. He represents clients in domestic and international arbitration, has litigated dozens of actions to enforce arbitration agreements, and is an arbitrator for several organizations.

MCCA is the “preeminent voice on diversity, equity, and inclusion from the counsel’s office to the C-suite and across corporate America.” The organization provides research, best practices, professional development, and training.
