The Federal Rules Advisory Committee proposed important changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedures that are designed to reduce the costs of discovery in civil litigation in federal courts. The proposed rules changes were submitted for public comment on August 13, 2013, and the Advisory Committee held its first public hearing on November 7, 2013.
