Invited by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, our Hong Kong Litigation & Dispute Resolution team Partner Thomas So presented at the 23rd Beijing Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Symposium on 19 November 2020 to the Beijing Municipal Government team led by the Beijing Mayor. Thomas, as the sole representative from Hong Kong legal sector, introduced to the Beijing team how Mayer Brown assisted Beijing clients in outbound investments in the past decade and also shared his insights on how Mayer Brown and other Hong Kong legal professions could assist in the development of Beijing Pilot Free Trade Zone going forward.
