• Advised a global provider of green hydrogen solutions on the intellectual property arrangements in support of its bid for the supply of electrolysers to a green ammonia project.
• Advised Aurelius on the acquisition of the Lloyds pharmacy business from McKesson Corporation.
• Advised ByBox on the acquisition of smart locker provider Pelipod Limited from BT Group.
• Advised Geopost on the acquisition of CitySprint.

 

Data Privacy & AI Governance

• Advised dozens of companies in all sectors on GDPR compliance, including internal policies, privacy notices, data inventories, data protection impact assessments, and vendor contracts.
• Advised a number of global organisations on international data transfers, including drafting intra-group agreements, implementing European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum, and operationalising the roll-out of post-Schrems II remediation programme.
• Advised a global financial institution on its AI and big data analytics project, which involved creating an AI and big data analytics risk governance framework to enable the business to classify data sources, assess and make decisions about the risks when seeking to utilise and monetise the insights and learnings obtained from AI supported data analytics performed on data sets for different use cases, such as to develop new products and services.
• Advised major car manufacturers on the design, development and implementation of connected and autonomous vehicles projects by which personal and non-personal data will be collected from vehicles in Europe and used to provide solutions to European users via connected devices.
• Advised a global automotive company on the legal risks associated with the procurement and use of GenAI tools for specific uses cases across multiple providers and AI models.
• Advised a S&P 500 company on the use of AI in recruitment.
