Sarah Balkissoon is an associate in Mayer Brown’s San Francisco office and a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. Her practice focuses on representing financial institutions, multinational corporations, and shareholders in complex commercial and securities litigation in federal and state courts, including actions involving alleged violations of the securities laws, allegations of fraud and misrepresentation, shareholder derivative claims against corporations, putative class actions, and contract disputes. In addition, her experience includes representing clients in government and internal investigations. Sarah represents clients in a broad range of industries, including food and beverage, telecommunications, banking and finance, insurance, and manufacturing. In her pro bono practice, Sarah focuses on criminal resentencing.
