Christian Sanchez represents lenders, sponsors, developers, equity investors, and other market participants in the development, acquisition, and financing of energy, mining, and infrastructure projects. His practice focuses on complex project finance and development transactions, both domestic and cross-border, spanning a project's lifecycle from early-stage development and construction financing through operational-phase refinancings and acquisitions. He has particular experience in renewable energy and conventional power generation, with additional experience in mining and infrastructure.

- The coordinating lead arrangers, lenders, issuing banks, and agents in an approximately $1.1 billion green loan facility for the construction of three utility-scale solar projects in Tennessee, Ohio, and Indiana.
- A power producer in the development and construction of a combined-cycle gas-fired power generation and LNG import terminal project in the Dominican Republic, including the negotiation of EPC contracts and gas turbine equipment supply agreements.
- A power producer in connection with the negotiation of a long-term services agreement for a gas-fired power generation project in the Dominican Republic.
- The coordinating lead arrangers and lenders in an approximately $230 million tax credit transfer bridge loan facility financing two solar-plus-storage projects in Puerto Rico, each with co-located battery energy storage: a 120 MW solar project with a 100 MW battery energy storage system and a 75 MW battery energy storage system expansion in Salinas, and an approximately 80 MW solar project with a 100 MW battery energy storage system and a 10 MW battery energy storage system expansion in Guayama.
