Merve Ozbakir

Merve Ozbakir is a dual-qualified associate who represents investment managers, advisors, and other financial institutions on a broad range of funds-related matters and financial services agreements.

Merve has particular experience advising institutional investors, including pension pools, on their investments in leading private funds across various jurisdictions. Clients turn to Merve for her experience in investments in infrastructure, real estate, private debt, venture capital, private equity, secondaries and climate opportunities funds and co-investments.

Before joining Mayer Brown, Merve worked in the banking and finance group of another prominent international law firm in Istanbul, and subsequently at a boutique law firm in London, advising clients on their investments in private funds.
