Diana Moreno is counsel in Mayer Brown’s New York office and a member of the Banking & Finance practice. Diana’s experience includes representing issuers and initial purchasers in connection with the creation of securitization platforms and the issuance of asset-backed securities backed by a variety of assets, including auto loans, residential mortgage loans (RMBS), loans secured by single-family rental (SFR) properties and single borrower/single asset commercial mortgage loans (CMBS) secured by data centers, multifamily properties, and hotels. Diana has also represented issuers and initial purchasers in synthetic / credit risk transfer (SRT/ CRT) transactions and other credit-linked note (CLN) transactions, which reference a variety of assets and derivatives.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Diana worked as a senior managing associate at an international law firm on structured finance transactions. In addition, Diana was an assistant vice president and lead analyst for new U.S. RMBS transactions at a rating agency, with responsibility for analyzing credit risks, cash flows and transaction documents to formulate rating recommendations and opinions.
