The dispute involves issues relating to the validity of the employer’s calls on performance and advance‑payment bonds after the contractor's termination due to the prolonged effects of a force majeure event.
- Representing a Pakistani State-owned entity in the power sector in an LCIA arbitration arising out of a power purchase agreement concerning a hydroelectric power plant in Pakistan.
- Acting for a joint venture contractor in high-value proceedings against a government company concerning the construction of a major international airport in the Middle East.
- Representing the Claimants in a challenge of an arbitral award in the English courts, under Section 68 of the Arbitration Act 1996.
- Representing the Claimant in enforcement proceedings of an ICSID Award in the English courts.
- Acting for an Indian energy company in an ICC arbitration regarding a contractual dispute arising from an LNG infrastructure project.
- Advising a major financial institution in connection with the financial distress and in-court administration proceedings of a fintech and digital trade finance provider.
