Mayer Brown Advises TUI Suisse on Sale of Cruisetour

Mayer Brown advised TUI Suisse AG on the sale of all shares in Cruisetour AG, a Switzerland-based company specializing in cruise travel brokerage.

Mayer Brown acted as lead legal advisor for TUI on this transaction, including in relation to the negotiation of the share purchase agreement and the handling of tax-related aspects. Swiss-law aspects related to the transfer of the shares in Cruisetour AG were handled by the Swiss law firm MLL Legal. Besides the sale, a long-term cooperation in the cruise sector between TUI Suisse and E-Hoi AG, as the acquirer of Cruisetour AG, was also agreed upon.

The transaction forms part of TUI Group's ongoing portfolio optimization strategy. TUI Group is one of the world's leading tourism companies.
