London - Mayer Brown has advised Strand Hanson Limited, acting as sponsor and financial adviser, on The Smarter Web Company PLC’s listing on the equity shares (commercial companies) segment of the Financial Conduct Authority’s Official List and its admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) Main Market.

Smarter Web Company, founded in 2009, is a web design business that operates a Bitcoin treasury policy. Its move from Aquis to the Main Market is especially significant as its admission on 3 February makes it the earliest new listing of the year, arriving as London prepares for stronger listing activity in the first half of 2026 following increased momentum in Q4 2025.

Kate Ball-Dodd, partner at Mayer Brown, commented: “It was a pleasure to represent Strand Hanson on this meaningful transaction, not just for Smarter Web Company, but for the market. This is an important step in Smarter Web Company’s growth. Congratulations to all involved.”

The Mayer Brown team advising on the transaction was led by Kate and included senior associate Sam Gregory, associate Conor McDonald, and trainee Kyle Thakker.
