Society for Corporate Governance Eastern Regional Conference

Mayer Brown is pleased to participate in the Society for Corporate Governance’s Eastern Regional Conference in New York.

Jennifer Zepralka will join the “Executive Compensation and Benefits” panel. Panelists including Winnie Ling (Head of Legal and People, Blend), Henrique Canarim (Vice President, Senior Assistant General Counsel, Securities, Governance & Transactions, Leidos Investor), Ed Gehl (Senior Director, Investment Stewardship, Vanguard) will examine recent developments and emerging practice points in connection with the SEC’s executive compensation disclosure framework. Jennifer participated in leading the Society’s committee drafting the recent comment letter to the SEC on executive compensation disclosures.

Anna Pinedo will participate on the “Do I Stay or Do I Go – Delaware Developments and the Fight to Be the Domicile for Corporate America” panel. Panelists will discuss recent amendments to the Delaware General Corporation Law (DGCL) aimed at reinforcing Delaware’s leadership in corporate governance amid rising competition from Texas and Nevada.
