Daiwei Zhao

Daiwei Zhao is an associate in Mayer Brown's Northern California office and a member of the Corporate & Securities practice. She advises clients on transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, emerging companies, and venture capital investment.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Daiwei was an associate at a Chinese law firm, where she advised leading venture capital firms, technology companies, and insurance companies on venture capital and private equity investments, as well as mergers and acquisitions. She also served as inhouse counsel at a large China-based wealth management company, where she was responsible for legal matters relating to the formation and investment activities of offshore funds.
