Sarah’s recent work includes representing leading technology companies in complex class action and multi-district litigation matters involving various consumer and privacy claims. She regularly advises and represents clients facing claims under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Wiretap Act or ECPA), Stored Communications Act (SCA), Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Comprehensive Data Access and Fraud Act (CDAFA), California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA), California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA), California False Advertising Law (FAL), California Unfair Competition Law (UCL), Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), and various consumer protection, privacy, and wiretapping laws. Sarah further counsels major technology companies facing claims related to their platforms, including issues involving content moderation, product design, intellectual property, and third-party fraud and defamation.
Sarah has represented corporations and individuals in many industries, including financial services, private equity, technology, entertainment and media, and e-commerce, in a broad range of matters, including white-collar investigations, business disputes, class actions, and securities litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Sarah served as a law clerk to the Honorable Edgardo Ramos of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. During law school, she served as a judicial intern to the Honorable John G. Koeltl of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
