Heather Feingold is counsel in Mayer Brown’s Washington DC office and a member of the Corporate & Securities practice. Heather works on energy regulatory matters, including counseling generating company and investor compliance activities before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Working closely with colleagues in the Firm’s Global Projects and Infrastructure practices, Heather advises clients on merger, acquisition, divestiture, and power sale authorizations, on project company and investor reporting requirements, and on transaction planning matters. Heather has worked on dozens of electric-sector investment matters, including acquisitions and dispositions of generators in the solar, wind, gas, cogeneration, and other fuel classes. Heather regularly supports both portfolio-wide and individual generating company FERC periodic reauthorization proceedings. Prior to joining Mayer Brown’s Corporate & Securities practice, Heather was counsel at another international law firm, and previously worked for a Washington DC energy trade association.
