Shout-out to partners Jacqueline Vallette, Joseph De Simone, and associate Andrew Spadafora, who have represented Generac Holdings Inc., a maker of energy-related products, as well as the company’s CEO and CFO in securities litigation filed after its stock price fell by 80% after the pandemic-driven demand for its stand-by generators waned. Last week, U.S. District Judge Brett Ludwig in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, dismissed the suit with prejudice, holding that the plaintiffs had failed to plead falsity on their core claims.
