Mayer Brown partner Sophia Yanuzzi appointed to board of Chicago Volunteer Legal Services

CHICAGO – Mayer Brown is pleased to announce that Sophia Yanuzzi, a partner in the firm’s Private Clients, Trusts & Estates practice, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS), the city’s longest-standing civil pro bono organization.

Sophia advises clients on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and transfer tax matters at both the state and federal levels. She is recognized for her experience in designing complex estate plans and guiding fiduciaries and beneficiaries through the legal and administrative aspects of probate and trust settlement.

CVLS is a leading pro bono organization in Chicago, with a network of more than 3,000 volunteer lawyers who provide free legal assistance to thousands of low-income residents each year.
