Mayer Brown advises Guess Germany on its expansion into top German city center locations

Mayer Brown provided Guess Deutschland GmbH with comprehensive legal advice on the leasing and acquisition of around a dozen former Scotch & Soda stores throughout Germany. The newly acquired retail spaces are located in prime city center locations, including Bonn, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Cologne, Munster, Munich and Sylt. The re-openings under new brand management will take place successively.

As part of the mandate, Mayer Brown also assisted Guess Germany in negotiating the lease for the first German store of the US premium brand Rag & Bone. The new store will open in a central location in Dusseldorf and marks the brand's market entry in Germany.
