Tauil & Chequer Advogados assists Bunge in concluding the partial acquisition of Pantanal Agrícola

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Bunge, one of the global leaders in the agribusiness, food and ingredients sectors, on the acquisition of a minority stake in Pantanal Agrícola, a retailer of inputs such as pesticides, seeds and fertilizers, which also provides barter operations, enabling rural producers to pay for inputs with grains.

With a track record of 20 years, Pantanal Agrícola operates in 64 cities in the states of Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso and Goiás, supported by a team of over 180 employees and 11 agricultural input stores.

The team was led by partners Christian Roschmann and Lilian Toscani, and included the participation of associates Stefano Braga and André Pini, all from the Corporate and M&A practice.
