Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Gerdau S.A., Gerdau Açominas S.A. and Gerdau Aços Longos S.A. in connection with a global credit facility, governed by New York law, contracted by subsidiaries of Gerdau's economic group through seven top-tier banks. The line of credit of up to US$875 million will be managed by Bank of New York Mellon, with a maturity of 5 years, jointly guaranteed by Gerdau S.A., Gerdau Aços Longos S.A. and Gerdau Açominas S.A.
