Mayer Brown advised Moving Intelligence B.V. on the acquisition of PLT Software GmbH, a GPS and route planning software company for SME fleets.
PLT Software GmbH helps companies manage their logistics operations and get the best out of their fleet of vehicles through its proprietary GPS tracking and route planning software solution, TrackPilot. The company was founded in 2002 and is based in Berlin.
Moving Intelligence B.V. is the Dutch market leader for vehicle and equipment security, trip registration and fleet management. Its acquisition of PLT Software GmbH marks a significant step in its expansion in Europe. Moving Intelligence B.V. is a portfolio company of Volpi Capital, which is a specialist mid-market private equity investor, with a focus on tech-enabled B2B software, data and services businesses across Northwest Europe. Since 2020 it has been shareholder of Moving Intelligence.
