While the American and Canadian Thanksgiving holidays are well-known, many other countries have their own harvest or thanksgiving festivals with different names and traditions, including Kinro Kansha no Hi in Japan, Erntedankfest in Germany, Chuseok in South Korea, and Dia de Ação de Graças in Brazil. These holidays are celebrated in different parts of Asia, Africa, and Europe, with some being official national holidays and others being less formal traditions or local customs.
