Brazil: ECF Filing Deadline Extended

On July 15, 2020, Normative Instruction No. 1,965/2020 was published, extending—until the last business day of September 2020—the deadline for filing the Fiscal Accounting Bookkeeping (ECF) related to calendar year 2019.
Originally, the deadline for the submission of the tax return was the last business day of July 2020.
Note that the extension of the term applies even in cases of winding up, split, merger or incorporation that occurred between January and April of the calendar year 2020.
