ABA 2026 Banking Law Committee Meeting

The ABA Banking Law Committee is holding its 2026 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC on January 17th and will offer over several interactive programs by leading industry practitioners.

Among them, bank regulatory partner Matthew Bisanz (Washington DC) will moderate a panel on government relations. It will review the priorities of the Trump Administration and how banking regulators will execute on those priorities with reduced staffing. It also will discuss the implications of divided government for federal and state financial services regulatory and supervisory policy, both domestically and globally.
