Maurício Veiga

Maurício is a senior associate in the Corporate and M&A, Infrastructure and Technology practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown. Maurício has supported many clients in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, inbound and outbound investments and other cooperative ventures involving international and Brazilian companies, as well as in legal due diligence processes.

Maurício joined the firm in 2019. Previously, Maurício worked at law firms in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo since 2013, as well as general counsel and public policy manager at a non-profit organization in the educational sector from 2015 to 2017.

Maurício holds a master of science degree (MsC) in business and decision-making at Minerva University (San Francisco/USA) and completed his law degree at the Fundação Getulio Vargas School of Law (Rio de Janeiro/Brazil).
