Ellen Hepworth is an associate in the London office of Mayer Brown's Intellectual Property & IT Group and a member of the Technology & IP Transactions and Cybersecurity & Data Privacy practices. She joined Mayer Brown as a trainee in 2019 and during her training contract spent six months on a secondment, on a part time basis, with a ride hailing software company.
Ellen advises on a range of technology, data protection and intellectual property matters. Her experience includes assisting clients with software development, purchase and licensing agreements, licensing of other intellectual property, outsourcing transactions, GDPR compliance projects, and negotiating data protection provisions in commercial agreements.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Ellen worked in-house at a challenger bank, advising on a variety of data protection matters including data protection provisions in supplier agreements, internal policies and customer requests.
