Key Guidelines from US Immigration Agencies to Ease I-9, E-Verify, LCA and PERM, and Wet Signature Requirements During COVID-19 Shelter in Place

This past week closed with an increasing number of states issuing shelter-in-place laws to stem the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), including New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and California. Multiple US agencies with immigration regulatory authority issued new guidelines to ease employer obligations while employees stay home during the COVID-19 national emergency.
