Layered Cyber Deterrence - Exploring The Cyber Solarium Commission Report

Share

The Cyberspace Solarium Commission was established by Congress to develop a “strategic approach to defending the United States in cyberspace against cyber attacks of significant consequences." The Commission released its finished report to the public on March 11, 2020.

The Technology, Law & Security Program at American University Washington College of Law will host a virtual discussion to review the Commissions findings and policy recommendations and explore the national security implications of this important topic and the various legal issues implicated.  The discussion will feature one of the Commissioners, former NSA Deputy Director Chris Inglis and Mayer Brown Partner, David Simon, who served on a pro bono basis as the Commission’s Chief Counsel for Cybersecurity and National Security Law.
