ALAS Cybersecurity Conference

Marcus Christian participated in a session at the 3rd annual ALAS Cybersecurity Conference on current topics in Cybersecurity. Marcus was joined on the panel by Jon Patterson, Partner at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings and Nesheba Kittling, ALAS Senior Loss Prevention Counsel. The program illustrated the impact of artificial intelligence on information security by, among other things, demonstrating how easily deepfake audios can be created and showing how lasers can send inaudible commands to personal digital assistants. The panelists also provided suggestions on combatting ransomware and discussed the impact of the new California Consumer Privacy Act on law firms.
