Zach Wawrzyniak

Caribbean Zachariah “Zach” Wawrzyniak is an associate in the Houston office of Mayer Brown’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.

Zach received his JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center, his MS in International Relations and Global Studies from Northeastern University, and his BS in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. During law school, Zach was a Senior Articles Editor on the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal, competed on the National Moot Court Team, and served as a member of the Advocates Board. Zach also won first place in the 2022 State Bar of Texas Insurance Law Section Student Writing Competition for his article “Parametric Perils: Regulation of Parametric Insurance.” Zach speaks English and Spanish. Before law school, Zach was an officer in the United States Air Force.

Zach is licensed to practice in Texas and is admitted to the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
