Claudia Ramos is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Mexico City office. Claudia focuses her practice on advising global oil, gas and energy companies. Her experience centers in day-to-day transactions, handling contract drafting, analysis and negotiation. Claudia also has experience with project finance for renewable and conventional power projects, as well as other infrastructure projects. She has been recently involved as counsel to the lenders in the syndicated financing for the development of fuel storage projects across Mexico. Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Claudia was an associate in an international law firm advising global companies of the midstream sector in matters related to natural gas, power industries and petroleum products, implementing nation-wide projects.
Claudia also has experience in corporate law, international mediation and commercial arbitrations, as well as data privacy matters.
In addition, Claudia worked as research fellow of the Dr. Nuria González Martín, an awarded author in the field of International Private Law, researcher in Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and visiting fellow in Stanford University.
Claudia is fluent in English and Spanish (native).
