Three Mayer Brown lawyers selected for Leadership Council on Legal Diversity's 2023 programs

Mayer Brown announced that senior associate Marjan Batchelor (Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Houston) has been named a 2023 fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). Additionally, associates Frances Guerrero (Banking & Finance, Chicago) and Julyana Dawson (Financial Services Regulatory & Enforcement, Washington DC) have been selected for LCLD’s 2022 Pathfinder program.

As a fellow, Marjan will participate in a year-long professional development program focused on leadership and relationship-building. She will join a diverse group of mid-career emerging leaders who have distinguished themselves within their organizations.

In the Pathfinder program, Frances and Julyana will join other diverse, high-potential, early-career attorneys. The program focuses on gaining practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, career development strategies and foundational leadership skills.

Founded in 2009, LCLD is an organization of more than 400 general counsel of major corporations and managing partners of the nation’s leading law firms who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession.
