Mayer Brown is honored to play a unique and important role in the G20 / B20 Saudi Arabia 2020. As the only law firm selected by the Secretariat to be a Knowledge Partner, Mayer Brown supported the B20 Taskforce on Integrity & Compliance, in particular, working closely with the taskforce leadership and member companies, including stc, SABIC, Novartis, MasterCard and China Poly Group, to help develop and draft:

“The G20 / B20 is a meeting that shapes the policy of our future,” said Charles Hallab, chair of Mayer Brown’s Middle East Practice and leader of the International Joint Venture & Strategic Alliance Initiative. “This year is particularly important with the issues we are facing on a global scale; I do not think there has been a more urgent need and opportunity for international political leaders and business leaders to collaborate in order to create lasting policy and reform. Mayer Brown is pleased to play a continuing role, as these initiatives and programs progress, including supporting the implementation of the Gender and Anti-Corruption Project.”

The Mayer Brown team was led by partners Charles Hallab (Washington DC / Dubai), Nicolette Kost de Sevres (Paris/Washington DC), and Sam Eastwood (London), working with renowned anti-corruption specialist, Christopher Costa, and supported by senior associates Omar El-Khattabi (New York) and Stavroula Nikolaidou (Paris).
