The Energy Regulatory Commission (“Comisión Reguladora de Energía” or “CRE”) recently set a maximum price regulation for the sale of liquefied petroleum gas (“LP Gas”) to end users. This regulation is in force for a period of six months and could be extended for six more, during which time an infringing seller could lose their permit if they do not comply with the weekly-published maximum price.
