The impact caused by the changes to the Brazilian Competition Act brought up by COVID-19’s Special Legal Regime is smaller than it seems

On June 10, the Brazilian President signed the Bill 1,179 into law. It modifies legal relations due to the COVID-19 crisis and provides, in its Article 14, for two temporary modifications to the Brazilian Competition Act (Law No. 12.520/2011). The impact of these changes is smaller than it seems, though.
