Handling Dawn Raids in China Webinar (Mandarin)

On 13 May 2021, Corporate & Securities partner and co-head of the Antitrust & Competition Team in Asia Hannah Ha and Litigation & Dispute Resolution counsel Raymond Yang delivered a webinar in mandarin in relation to handling dawn raids in China to over 50 members of a reputable chemical association. 

Hannah kicked off the webinar and gave an overview of dawn raids including its concepts and characteristics together with the significance to corporate crisis management. She then highlighted that the management should get ready for dawn raids by penetrating the preparation into daily work and forming a response team. Raymond continued and discussed on steps of dawn raids crisis management and listed out the details to be paid attention to in each step, such as to understand limitations of the powers of enforcement officers, to keep copies of documents taken by the officers and to set out the plan for the next step. Towards the end, Hannah summarised the key tools for handling dawn raids and conducted a Q&A session together with Raymond. The webinar was well-received.
