Overview
Brian Saleeby’s practice is primarily concentrated on advising clients in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and sales of business, joint ventures, private placements, strategic alliances, commercial transactions and other corporate matters. His practice spans a variety of industries, including financial services, energy & infrastructure, consumer products, industrial manufacturing, and reinsurance.
Experience
Some selected representations include:
- Somerset Reinsurance on its agreement with Prudential Financial to reinsure $12.5 billion guaranteed universal life insurance block.
- A global alternative investment manager in its strategic investment in a rapidly growing insurtech, mobile solutions and warranty services company, and its simultaneous acquisition of a technology-enhanced warranty administrator for premier furniture retailers.
- CEMEX in the sale of a majority stake in Neoris N.V., its subsidiary engaged in the business of providing information technology consulting services all around the globe to private equity firm Advent International, and in connection with the contemplated joint venture and long-term services agreements between CEMEX and Neoris upon the closing.
