Overview

Carolina Herrera helps clients to litigate, mediate, and arbitrate complex matters in state and federal courts.

Clients turn to Carolina for her extensive experience in disputes in sectors such as bankruptcy, construction and infrastructure, energy, and securities litigation.

Carolina also assists clients with her expertise in e-discovery, including recently managing e-discovery vendor and review teams for a $2 billion matter.

Before joining Mayer Brown, Carolina worked for another prominent international firm. Carolina received her JD from Stanford Law School and her BA in English, with a certificate in Business, from the University of Texas at Austin. During law school, she gained experience as a student attorney for the Stanford Law Immigrants’ Rights Clinic. She has also volunteered with the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department Prisoner Legal Services, the Legal Services of Greater Miami, the Orleans Public Defenders, and the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund. She also served as a law clerk with the Office of the Federal Public Defender-District of Oregon. Before law school, Carolina worked as a paralegal for a criminal defense attorney.
