Overview

Carolina Herrera is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Houston office and a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Before joining the firm, Carolina was an associate at an international law firm where she focused her practice on complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts.

Carolina received her JD from Stanford Law School and her BA in English, with a certificate in Business, from the University of Texas at Austin. During law school, she gained experience as a student attorney for the Stanford Law Immigrants’ Rights Clinic. She volunteered with the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department Prisoner Legal Services, the Legal Services of Greater Miami, the Orleans Public Defenders, and the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund. She also served as a law clerk with the Office of the Federal Public Defender-District of Oregon. Before law school, Carolina worked as a paralegal for a criminal defense attorney.
