Overview

As a senior professional support lawyer in the Pensions practice in London, Katherine Carter is responsible for meeting the practice’s knowledge needs. She helps lawyers stay abreast of legal and industry developments and provide cutting edge, targeted and practical advice to clients. Katherine designs and delivers training to lawyers and clients, develops user-friendly practice resources and implements legal technology to maximise efficiency. She drafts regular client legal updates and frequently contributes to external publications. Prior to becoming a professional support lawyer, Katherine gained extensive experience at another prominent international firm advising employers and trustees on all aspects of occupational pension scheme provision, including administration and compliance, funding and investment, scheme governance, corporate transactions and scheme mergers and terminations.

Katherine is a member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers and represents the firm on the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association’s Legal Panel.
