Overview
Jeffrey Cantrell’s tax practice has a strong emphasis on financial and transactional matters. He advises clients on the tax aspects of domestic and international structured finance transactions, asset and mortgage-backed securitizations, and various capital markets undertakings, including financial instruments and certain types of fixed income trading activities.
In addition, Jeffrey has extensive experience advising clients on a range of international tax planning matters, on the tax aspects of private investment funds and REITs, and on mergers and acquisitions tax and certain partnership tax matters. He also represents clients in tax controversies, including those involving financing and leasing transactions.
