Overview
Admitted to the Paris Bar, Maud Bischoff is a partner in the Banking & Finance practice of the Paris office.
Maud acts for leading funds, group of companies and banks in connection with all type of financings (unitranche, all senior facilities, senior/mezzanine and super-senior facilities in the context of high yield bonds) in relation to domestic and cross-border leveraged acquisition and real estate assets. She is also involved in debt restructuring transactions of all size.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Maud practised for several years at major law firms in Luxembourg and Paris.
In addition to her native French, Maud is fluent in English.

- Advised Maurel & Prom in the context of a term loan with Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd and eight other Asian lenders for the purposes of, inter alia, the refinancing its oil and gas operations in Gabon.
- Advised private equity fund Raise on its acquisition of Mériguet, a leading French company specialized in luxury decorative craft, from Qualium Investissement and Future French Champions.
- Advised private equity fund Activa Capital on the acquisition of a majority stake in Look Cycle, a cycling equipment manufacturer.
- Advised private equity fund Alpha Private Equity on its acquisition of Feu Vert, a French car repair retail group.
- Advised Groupe C2S, (and its majority shareholder, private equity fund Bridgepoint) private clinics operator, on the acquisition of Groupe Avenir Santé, private clinics operator, from Montefiore Investment.
- Advised Partners in Action (ultimately held by private equity fund Argos Soditic) on a simplified tender offer targeting the delisting of Efeso Consulting Group, a global management consultancy firm, from Alternext.
- Advised private equity fund Eurazeo on its acquisition of Nova GRAPE Hospitality Group, a group of hotel properties and businesses held by Accor and other real estate investment funds.
- Advised a group of individuals on the sale of a 28,000 square meters building of offices and retail located in the heart of Paris to Norges Bank Investment management (NBIM).
- Advised Denis Dumont, the founder of the French Food retail store group Prosol (Grand Frais) on the restructuring of its shareholding and the entry of new investors Sagard and SIGEFI P.E. (groupe Siparex), along with Abénex Capital and Five Arrows.
- Advised private equity fund Quilvest, along with BPIFRANCE Investissement and the managers, on their acquisition of Sogetrel, a telecom networks integrator, from Equistone Partners, Idinvest partners, Ardian (Private Debt), and Capzanine.
