Mayer Brown and Tauil & Chequer Advogados advise Nvni Group Limited on business combination with Mercato Partners Acquisition Corporation and listing on Nasdaq
Mayer Brown and Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Nvni Group Limited (New Nuvini), the leading serial acquirer of SaaS B2B companies in Brazil, on the successful completion of its business combination with Mercato Partners Acquisition Corporation (Mercato).
Mercato will retire its listing on Nasdaq effective as of market close today, and New Nuvini’s ordinary shares and warrants are expected to commence trading on Nasdaq under the symbols "NVNI" and "NVNIW," respectively, as of market open on October 2, 2023.
The team was led by Corporate & Securities partners Edward Best, Esther Chang, John Ablan (all Chicago) and Carlos Motta (São Paulo).
